Meet the Author

Michael Milligan has been a comedy writer for over thirty years, with credits including Good Times, Maude, All in the Family, The Jeffersons, and Dear John. He lives in Los Angeles, California.

Tom Lynch has spent the last twenty years as a story analyst, identifying and developing screenplays for some of the biggest movie studios in Hollywood. Prior to that, he was a helicopter pilot, working around the world, from the steaming jungles of Vietnam and New Guinea to the sands of the Persian Gulf to the mountains of Alaska. Yet some of his most dangerous and exciting assignments took place at the wheel of the family van as an operational dad under the command of his wife, Cookie.

    Amusing and instructive.

Mr. Milligan's anecdotal writing, while amusing, is both instructive and heartwarming. He has now co-authored three companion books: Grandpa Rules, Grandma Rules, and Mom Rules. The latter written with his wife Jill. I regularly give these books as gifts and always receive appreciative comments.
