Cute book. It moved a little too fast in that it is ridiculous and completely unrealistic that Seth would feel so protective and 'fatherly' towards Rory's eldest daughter after spending a few minutes in her company during ONE afternoon - protective to the point of wanting to run boys off and thinking her leotard was too revealing. I seriously found myself rolling my eyes a few times thinking megapuhleeeze. But, overall, not bad.......but it doesn't compare to the author's Broken Heart series, which is leaps and bounds better.

This review in no way reflects on the Author or her writing. This nookbook however is messed up. As the other reviewers state the front page (which actually is page one) reads as page 218. Which would be fine but when you turn the page to 219, it's obviously the real page 219 far into the book. Also page 1 AKA page 218 is the only page that doesnt seem to actually want to fit on the page even changing all the page formats, font and size (Including publisher defaults) In short, I would NOT recommend buying this nookbook until it has been fixed.

I enjoyed this book from start to finish. The author has written a well-paced story which grabs the reader from the first page. I found myself alternately giggling and having my heart strings tugged as the thoroughly believeable characters made their way through the story. The portrayal of the children was especially well done. I'm looking forward to more of this author's books.

? Daddy in Training is a delightful story, fresh and animated, with some of the truest characters yet to be written. Rory is a heroine so down to earth she could be any one of us, and Seth is a hero we would all love to meet...and know. Even if you don't care for your romances loaded with kids, these children are a joy. The dialogue is snappy, and frequently made me laugh out loud. And yet, with the barest choice of words, Ms. Bardsley evoked a sharp breath and twinge in my chest for the heartache our hero and heroine experienced. More, the love scenes were fresh. I enjoyed this book immensely, will read it again, and look forward to the sequel, 'Bride in Training.' I will definitely buy Ms. Bardsley's other books.
