Dagger, Brothers of Element Series, I found to be a travel of discovery for the heroine, Drew. Things she took for granite, human touch, acceptance, and the need for family. Besides the hero and heroine, which I loved, I loved the father, Augustine. He'll make all sorts of promises trying to get a grandchild out of the two. Drew thinks she can find a cure for their shifting ability other than becoming food for the thing. I won't say what it is, but when she goes down to help him, I stepped into a whole other world. It made me think about what's truly going on in the ocean and what happens when we think we're helping.

I would recommend Dagger, Brothers of Element Series.
