The meridian system is a series of channels which transport Ki through the body. Meridians can be compared to a system of irrigation canals carrying sustenance to the body, mind, and spirit. Acupressure points, which are distributed along the meridians, are energy ports through which energy enters and exits the body.

Excellent Easy to Read with Diagrams to Follow. You're Going to Love it!

This book is very easy to follow along with. Diagrams of energy meridian channels and important energy points are explained. Principles of the universe and how these principles are the same principles of energy within my own body is very easily understood. Basic postures, stretches, and breathing techniques are explained. Self check areas are with key points for me to remember. "Energy, meets Physiology" is a chapter simply explaining different organs within my body and there purpose. My favorite is meditation on how to quiet my mind from all the daily mind chatter that sometimes leaves me exhausted. It's an excellent book for my library that I refer to a lot. Very easy and enjoyable read.
