    I Also Recommend:

    Very helpful book!

I like the easy to use exercises, based on daily centering and focus. Makes self-injury understandable to the patient and their family. Nice twist on typical workbooks! I like that I can copy the exercises and have them work only on specific tasks between sessions. Great way to build self-management. Very hopeful and positively written. Easy to understand.

    I Also Recommend:

    Practical and timely

This book came along at a time when I struggled with activities for my clients. It offers a hopeful focus and creates a new mindset. It does not emphasize symptomatic behaviors or counting urges or symptoms. It offers a structured focused approach both in and outside of therapy!! Great book.

    my clients love these exercises

Bought both of these books in the series. She said she is going to put out a client text this year too! Loved hearing her speak, and this book is great for structuring exercises and focusing writing efforts of patients from free unstructured destructive journal entries to very focused and contained writing. Can't wait for the client journal!
