In many respects, this book changed my life because it changed the way I "perceive." I purchased the book because it was a simple complement to The Course in Miracles with an arrangement that encouraged frequent use. It is a book to reference, not to read and put away. I kept a copy in my car and read entries daily before going into work. Although there are daily entries, I used the topical selection to help work through work and personal issues as they occurred. A familiar them echoed throughout the book....perspective is the "key" to understanding almost anything in our life and changing our perspective can change everything else that follows. In my case, this proved true. Of course, it takes time to change our thinking...and practice. The book is an excellent reinforcement for changing "self-destructive thinking." For some, the religious framework might be a bit off-putting, but I view the holy spirit as my inner spirit so everything fell into place. This book encourages thinking so it's not really a good bedside read, but it's invaluable if you want to improve relationships and find peace and joy in daily living.

This daily mediation book really incorporates the course into simple everyday living. Love this book.
