What People are Saying About This

From the Publisher

At last someone has taken the time to draw the best golden nuggets from the vast gold mine found in William Gurnall's classic, and present them in readable form to the Christian public.  Remarkable!  Stirring!  Soul searching!  The believer who daily uses Gurnall's teachings on putting on the armor of God will find his life daily transformed.  I enthusiastically recommend this book as one of the greatest contributions to the believer's warrior lifestyle to come our way in a long time.
-Dr. Ed Murphy, Author, The Handbook for Spiritual Warfare

The contemporary church is indebted to Jim Bell for making available William Gurnall's spiritually profound work, in bite-size nuggets so that we can feel upon it daily.
-Neil T. Anderson, Freedom in Christ Ministries

A balanced approach to spiritual warfare must be deeply rooted both in the truth of God's Word and the corroboration of history.  William Gurnall's seventeenth-century writings provide biblical insight and the refreshing candor of one of history's proven warriors.  Every servant of God who reads these pages will strengthen his own walk of freedom.
-Mark I. Bubeck, International Center for Biblical Counseling
