    My new Constant Companion

I wish I had read this book when I was younger. I can't imagine the number of times it might have helped me avoid negative outcomes. I also think it should be required reading in our school systems. What impresses me most about this book is it's relevance. It seems to me that even though it was written generations ago, it doesn't seem to be a victim of the "Generation Gap" thinking that most of us endure on a daily basis. Yes there are some instances where the issues it speaks of are outdated. But what the book deals with mostly is helping us to treat others as we would want to be treated. Respect and common courtesy are such simple things to give.

I also purchased a copy for my teenage daughter. I sincerely believe it will be a benefit for her in dealing with the ever changing world we live in. I hope she will be able to benefit from the teachings contained in this book at a much younger age than I did.

Year ago took the Dale Carnegie Human Relations Course. Tremendous

Well written, life experiences of successful people in all walks of life. I purchased the book because even though I took the course years ago and reviewed it a few times, it should be reviewed often. Also the book on How To Stop Worrying needs to be reviewed as I tend to wander away from these proven methods and need to be put back on track.

Find peace & joy in your life

although somewhat outdated, some of the suggested tactics can still be used and applied. the use of real world situations helped me change my ways in dealing with situations that would have some negative impact in my life. i highly recommend reading this book.

    A Timeless Classic

The style and jargon might be dated but the message is timeless. Not only is this book enjoyable to read, it can help almost anyone--even someone like me who read it for the first time at the age of 43! This book is one to always keep nearby and never lend out. It is better to buy more and give away to others you care about.
