Bob Dubois is a research scientist and environmental educator in aquatic ecology with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. He specializes in the ecology, identification, and distributions of North American Odonata (dragonflies and damselflies). In his twenty-five years with the WDNR, Bob has studied many topics in aquatic insect ecology, written more than 30 articles for scientific journals, given over 100 talks, workshops and classes on dragonfly and damselfly ecology and identification. Bob lives in Superior, Wisconsin with his wife Linda, and is within striking distance of his favorite haunt the Bois Brule River Valley.
