My Seller said the product was Like New, and Like New it was! It always makes me nervous whenever I purchase used products but my seller was honest. The manga itself is amazing of course, and will make for a good addition to my ever growing collection.

A fresh take on the ideas of vampires and their interactions with humans, Dance in the Vampire Bund from Nozomu Tamaki is a startlingly good series. Delving deep into emotions on all sides of the conflict, we're brought to a world where an island off the coast of Japan has been bequeathed to creatures of the night, where they plan to build a haven and home for vampires the world over, to begin living in peace with humans. But fear runs rampant amongst the citizens of Japan, and indeed the world, and soon the young-in-form-but-not-in-years queen of the vampires, Mina Tepes, is directly threatened. Enter her bodyguard, a boy who has grown up amongst humans, named Akira Kaburagi. He shares a special bond with the queen, stemming from a childhood (nearly) promise between them. So begins the outward peace between humans and vampires, and the quiet war amongst the factions who want nothing more than the obliteration of the other side. Dance in the Vampire Bund is an amazing series. I'll warn you that the content is not intended for anyone younger than sixteen, and even then your mileage may vary. Battles are explicit, correct in anatomy and what happens when point A is struck with object B. There is a mature undercurrent and mild sexual humor throughout, but it never overshadows the true story of the series - that of a hopeful princess, her fearless bodyguard, their world, and the world arraigned against them. Anyone looking for a solidly-built manga series shout start reading Dance in the Vampire Bund. Each novel is mostly contained within itself as well, so there is never a sense of being "cut-off" mid story at the end, but I would still recommend reading them in order - the writing improves as time goes on, and as the story gets deeper. My personal score for the series right now is a 9.5/10. Start reading today - or you may receive an invitation to the bund that you can't refuse!

This manga is an amazing work. The storyline about a Vampire Princess who built a place just for her kind and her mysterious attraction to a young man who is her servant makes it a definate story worth reading. The artwork is really well done and pleasing to the eyes. I would recommend this book to people who love manga and are looking for an original work. Although be cautioned this manga does contain nudity, harsh language, and minimal violence. So it is not appropriate for children.
