Overview

On June 4, 1982, the body of a young woman surfaced from 300 feet of water in Lake Placid, New York. Because of the depth and intense cold of the water, the body which was determined by medical examiners to have been submerged for over twenty years, was remarkably well-preserved. At the time, the authorities were unable to establish the identity of the woman but concluded that her death had been violent.

    Amazing read!

I bought this book while on vacation in Lake Placid. It was a GREAT book! You will be blown away by the ending. I never saw it coming. Maybe the biggest compliment for this book is - My husband NEVER reads. After I read this book, I told him he had to read it. He read non-stop for two days and loved it!

    from Northern NY

Since I live on 50 miles north of Lake Placid, this book was very appealing to me. However, anyone who truly like to read and like a good mystery/thriller will like this book. I usually hate to read but I loved this book
