A wonderful and original twist on time travel, involving two 16 year old sisters -- only one died ten years earlier, before being visited by the other from the future with the help of a mysterious clockwatch. This creates various problems for the sisters in altering time -- including adjusting to one another and evading a serial killer through time. Highly recommend for fans of teen fiction and time travel and its many implications on the past and future. Also recommend the author's teen time travel romance fantasy, CHRISTMAS WISHES: Laura's Story, haunted house mystery, GHOST GIRL IN SHADOW BAY, and teen vampire novel, COUNT DRACULA'S TEENAGE DAUGHTER.Was this review helpful? I did read the entire book and wanted to know what the outcome would be, but I found that Flowers' prose was somewhat stilted and the characters didn't feel very realistic on many levels. It was a very interesting premise and I like where Flowers went with it--really didn't expect one of the plot twists, but went with it and enjoyed it. So while I felt it had some problems, I had a good readof it ultimately. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Danger is Time grabbed me from the first chapter. It's clear the author is exceptional at creating multi-dimensional characters. The plot is a unique twist to time travel, bearing mystical elements. The characterizations of the sisters' parents is superb, showing that the author is tuned into modern step-parent relationships. But the gem of this story is the relationship between the sisters; it is powerfully written by the author, and easy to invest in as a reader. I was so engaged in this story that I hated to put it down. It is so well crafted that I had to learn a bit more about the author once I finished. I learned that R. Barri Flowers has written over forty books. It's clear that Danger in Time is an example of his masterful prose. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
