    Dangerous Curves by Pamela Britton
    NASCAR #1
A decade ago, Cecilia Blackwell, known as Cece, was a girl with hero worship and ended up embarrassing herself often because of that particular guy. Now as a grown woman, an FBI agent who is good at her job, she has learned she can turn heads and knows how to use that power. Everything changes the day she’s pulled from her undercover job to investigate a murder. A murder that includes working side by side with the past she wants to forget.

Blain Sanders has just lost his best friend and believes it was more than just an accident on the track, he believes Randy was murdered. He’s been told his old high school nemesis has become a well respected FBI. He expects to see the same tomboy he knew, not a beautiful woman, a woman who is determined to put her work before everything else, including him.

This first book in the series has suspense riding along side the fast pace behind the scenes of NASCAR and Blain’s racing team. It seems like everything is going against the Sanders Team and Cece is doing her best to keep him at a distance as well. Ride along with them as they try to find the killer before they strike again. There are seven books in this series.

    I Also Recommend:

    I LOVE NASCAR

I have always like the sport of NASCAR simply because I like to drive fast, never really thought about fantasizing about a driver. Then I read In The Groove and the book became a drug! The characters are endearing and there were plenty of laugh out loud moments for me and the drivers are McSteamy! I enjoyed going backwards to read about Blain and Cece and I am looking foward to reading the rest of the series.

    I LOVED IT!!

I absolutely loved DANGEROUS CURVES. I haven't been reading on a regular basis for very long because I used to dispise reading for pleasure, but this was about the fourth book that I read and I could not put it down. My husband got me into NASCAR about 7 years ago and she is right on, very knowledgable. It was a great story from start to finish.

This Book is hotter then the pavement after qualifing!

Pamela Britton's DANGEROUS CURVES, is an amazing story! She not only has characters that are multi-leveled, but 'real'. She knows her NASCAR and makes you want to come back for more. DANGEROUS CURVES is non-stop fabulous!

    A Romance about NASCAR!

My sister, the romance fan, called me, the NASCAR fan, to let me know that one of her favorite authors was about to release a romance with a NASCAR theme. Of course, I couldn't resist it. And I am so happy she called! I really enjoyed this book. Ms. Britton used her extensive experience in NASCAR to create characters who were real and who worked their way into my heart. I loved Cece and hope to see her in future books...why not? She could be the experienced romantic who helps others find each other! Thank you Pamela Britton for some fun and wonderful reading. I look forward to your next book. Next time, my review will be more timely!

    What a Find!

I saw this book's cover and felt my heart leap. Could it be a book about racing? It was! And what a treat. The author did a fabulous job of keeping this reader on the edge of her seat. Cece Blackwell is an FBI agent with a grudge. She's forced to work a case with her old high school nemises, a man she used to have a crush on years ago. Together they must try and find out who might have killed a NASCAR driver, and more imporatantly, who might want to kill race fans. I'll admit I'm a huge fan of NASCAR and so I wasn't sure if the author could pull this story off but Ms. Britton knows racing. It's obvious in every scene that takes place at the track and at race shops. A visit to this author's web site confirmed what I already suspsected. This author doesn't just know racing, she's lived the life and I can't be more thrilled that at last someone is writing about a sport I love. I can't wait for the sequel In The Groove to come out next year. Ms. Britton, write faster!

    Disappointed

I do not like to start a book and not finish it. In this particular instance, I couldn't turn the pages fast enough, not because it was a good read but because it was so bad I couldn't wait to finsh it and start another book. Save your money and don't waste your time. Give me a regency romp any day by this author, not a cutsey contemporary.

    Dangerous Curves

When a NASCAR driver is murdered, the best person to investigate is CeCe Blackwell, an FBI agent who grew up around the cars and even beat NASCAR star Blain Sanders in their youths. In fact, he requested her as the agent in charge, but he is the reason she wants nothing to do with the case. Nonetheless, she finds herself back on the track, shoulder to shoulder with Blain, delving into complexities that have more curves than a racetrack. Racing to a stunning ending and heartwarming conclusion is the only thing a reader can do once they set off on this course.

When Romance meets NASACAR, what¿s NOT to love!

Pamela Britton is one of the very few authors on my auto-buy list and I couldn¿t wait to get my hands on Dangerous Curves. And I WAS NOT disappointed! Keeping with her tradition, Dangerous Curves was a sassy and steamy read with a heroine and hero that you couldn¿t help but fall in love with! And the NASCAR scenery was such a treat!!! Ms. Britton painted the picture of the races, track and garages so well, that I actually felt like I was right there with Cece and Blain. And the suspense/mystery twist, which was a new element for Ms. Britton, was pulled off wonderfully! I was VERY enthralled and couldn¿t wait to solve the mystery! Cece, the FBI agent heroine, is intelligent, spunky, witty and determined. And Blain, a NASCAR team owner, was your all-American `nice guy¿, unwavering in his efforts to prove that the accident that killed his friend and driver was actually no accident at all. The attraction between the two was hot and sensual and had me turning pages late into the night. Ms. Britton¿s newest book was certainly an emotional rollercoaster that had me laughing and crying the whole way through! I didn¿t want it to end, but couldn¿t wait to finish it! If you¿re a fan of romance, or NASCAR, you get the best of both worlds in Dangerous Curves. So race on out to pick up your copy today!!
