    Lora Leigh is amazing!!

    I was lucky enough to find Dangerous Pleasure a little early at my local bookstore, and I must say I'm extremely glad I did. Like every other book in the bound hearts series it is a must read. No one tells a true love story that makes your heart pound and your palms sweat like Lora Leigh. I recommend this book and every other one in the series to those who aren't afraid of a little steam!

    Disappointing

    As a fan of Lora Leigh it pains me to write that about her latest book, but that is the only word I can use to describe Dangerous Pleasures. Ihe dialogue was trite, the love scenes forced - the only positive was the plot which was randomly exciting. Perhaps, my disappointment stems from my fondness for Abram and Paige vs.those negatives. I know I will be a little more cautious about just ordering the next Lora Leigh new release on the first day again! Especially one that is closer in length to a novella than a novel, but more expensive than a standard book. While readers try to be faithful to our favorite authors you need to reward us with quality AND substance (e.g. J.R. Ward). There are a number of up and coming authors looking for a chance too...

    what a disappointment

    I usually really enjoy her books, but this one was a major disappointment. Too many characters introduced all at once in the beginning of the story and the complicated family relations were too much for me. This wasn't much of a romance, more a low grade mystery.

    This book didnt really fit the series

    I must admit I am struggling with this review. I am a Lora Leigh junkie & have read everyone of her books I can get my hands on. Let me start out by saying I really did like this book. It was filled with action & danger. However it lacked the erotic heat that Leighs books are known for. Overall this is a great suspense book, but definetly not a erotic/ romantic novel.

    Missing something.

    I love Lora Leighs books but this one is lacking. It is missing the lust and taking of bodies that the others in this series had. I love the forbidden pleasures but this book did not hit that level.

    Sorry, dont buy

    Slow and took me forever to read..there no insentive to, the book dragged on. Dont waste your money..lora, im a fan, get back to what you know and your readers want.

    If only they offered refunds.....

    As I read the other reviews I realize I am obviously the odd man out. I thought this book was so bad. I have read almost all of Lora Leigh's books and she runs so EXTREMELY hot or EXTREMELY cold. This is a definite cold. In fact, it felt like she might have had some bills to pay so another book was forthcoming. The dialogue was awful. Let me get this straight - he can't sleep with her because it's too dangerous so WHILE she's being held by his father it is then okay to sleep with her? I'll be honest, I didn't finish it. I made it about 3/4 of the way through and skipped a number pages at that. When she is good, Lora Leigh is FANTASTIC. When she is bad, well, I'm not making enough money to afford all the bad. She may have to go on my 'check it out at the library first' list. Regardless, I still root for the good ones from her....
