Meet the Author

I live in the beautiful mountains of Lake County, California. I have always loved hiking, camping, rafting and being outdoors. I’ve also been involved in the martial arts for years—I hold a third degree black belt, instruct in a Korean karate system, and have taught self-defense. I am happily married to a romantic man who often inspires me with his thoughtfulness. We have a yours, mine, and ours family, claiming eleven children as our own. I have always written books, forcing my ten sisters to read every word, and now my daughters read and help me edit my manuscripts. It is fun to take all the research I have done on wild animals, raptors, vampires, weather, and volcanoes and put it together with romance.

Good, but not as good as others in the series.

This installment of the Drake Sisters was not as good as Oceans of Fire. I found the characters not as dynamic and I did find my self bored a few times. The ending was perfect, the bad guy was a surprise (though not really). The conflicts the two characters face were tense at times and added to the plot. I am excited to read the next installment.

Enjoyed this 4th installment of the Drake Sisters Series - Libby

Enjoyed this 4th installment of the Drake Sisters Series - Libby's Story.
The character delvelopment of Tyson was a little slow in the beginning - but very necessary so you could underdstand him. I wish there was more interaction between Sarah, Kate and Abbey's men .. but truely found the clues for Joely, Hannah and Elle's men interesting. I really love Christine's community of Sea Haven and am off to read Safe Harbor next! Recommend you read them in order as each story builds upon the next, however if you don't you can still follow the series.

    Good mind candy

So if you are looking for something that will help you forget the stresses of the day, Feehan is a good choice. The plot is fairly simple, sexie man, beautiful lady...both with some baggage and misunderstanding...fall in love exc...Toss in a little magic and there you go. I do like the Drake sisters and as you get further in the series her books and characters become better, as well as a better plot. It takes Feehan a little while to get her speed up with this series. I only wish someone would have told Feehan this in her earlier Drake sister books, because I think she could have done better.
Overall Dangerous Tides is a decent book, good mind candy and will release you from every day stresses. What more could you really ask for?

I really loved this book. Chistine Feehan is my favorite auther. I was glad that she didn't stop with the Drakes when that series was over. Can't wait for the next book in this series to come out...

    Not my favorite...

To this point, all of the Drake Sisters' books have been enjoyable easy reads. I almost didn't finish this one as the beginning was very slow and muddled. Glad I didn't give up, though. Got better the further I read, but still not my fav. Looking forward to finally getting Hannah and Jonas's story.

Great book in the Drake series!

Libby and Tyson are living a beautiful romance despite the fact that they are both wanted dead. They will not let their blossoming relationship dissipate amongst a series of accidents happening to them.

I love the fact that the Drakes know they will find their loves. And the idea of them accepting them but being a little resistant makes for a great love story.

    My favorite Drake sisters book.

I love all of Ms. Feehan's series and this series is very enjoyable. I really loved Libby's story. Libby and Ty make a great couple and the mystery surrounding them is very exciting. Try this series and be surprised at how addicting it can become.

    Enjoyed it!

A wonderful book. I've read all that are out by this author and the only book I didn't like was Dark Symphony. It's been awhile on the Drake Sister, Ms. Feehan, I'm anxious to read what is in store for them next!

    I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!!!!

This is probably my favorite series out right now. I have loved each of them and can't wait for the rest to come out. I love the chemistry between Libby and Ty and I also love the past history. I much prefer stories where the two main characters have a past rather than meeting and falling madly in love in a matter of minutes. Very well written and kept me turning the pages. Read this in one day, could not put it down. Just as the others. I'll be sad to see this series end. Can't wait for Hannah's story. I've been routing for them from the beginning. Great job as always Christine :)

When's the next one coming out?

I love this series (wouldn't have minded a bit if Sarah's story had been longer, but hey, beggers can't be choosers). The magic is amazing (makes me wish I had some powers of my own, I'm not sure which power I'd want though.) But anyways, if you liked Sarah's, Kate's, and Abby's stories, you'll more than likely like Libby's story. But you'll be like me, you'll be wanting Hannah's story yesterday! (Although, I might be wanting to read Joley's or Elle's story more. I can't decide.) Great book though. :)

I love the 7 sister series.

This book is about Dr. Libby and Tyson. They have known each other for a long time but never connected. A freak accident involving Tys safety gear in a cliff rescue starts the ball rolling. Libby saves him, Ty doesn't believe it, no one can do that. It's not logical. You wanna bet? Just ask Jonas Harrington, a family friend. This story has everying, danger, love, humor, and passion. By the time it's done, you wish you could be a Drake sister. Not because of there special talents but because they have so much love and support for each other and all who get involved in the family.

    A little disappointing

I was a little disappointed with this book. I have read all of the other Drake sister books as well as all of her Carpathian books and I thought this one to be the worst. I thought it was really slow at the beginning, and I couldn't really get in to Ty and Libby's connection until close to the end. It was also very obvious from early on who the true villian was. I think that Christine Feehan usually creates very entertaining books, but this one was a little painful getting through it.
