The light gray tabby shecat leads her daughter and sister for many days, letting them rest as often as she dared without losing Goldenstripe's scent. On her guard for Darkfang, Lilywolf hunts for all three and desperately tries to make Doepaw feel safe while encouraging Rosepetal. The shecat is numb with grief. How could Goldenstripe leave her? Didn't everything they'd been through mean anything to him? So what if Shadowstar had had an influence on him? Fang was Lilywolf's father but she was still nothing like him. And Goldenstripe couldn't see that he as nothing like Shadowstar. He hadn't ever purposefully hurt her. Except for now. Now he had left knowing how much pain she was in. As the tabby presses onward, the fire in her slowly begins to die. The prophecy rings in her ears. "The silver lily will be destroyed by the golden sun." Time and time again that prophecy had come true but now it seemed like this would be its final truth. Still, as long as she had her mate's scent, Lilywolf doesn't lose hope as she travels through forest and prairie, twoleg places and fields, refusing to give up on him. ~ Lilywolf &hearts P.S. Okay Goldenstripe is in the Horse Diaries series. I forget which book but it should be on the second page. Sorry I was gone again. But I'm glad to be back!

I am a 10 year old girl that loves horses and loves to read horse books. I read the first few chapters of this book, put the book down, and decided not to read/finish the book because there was so much dying and killing in it. I was very disappointed when I read it and I don't reccomend this book for people my age.
