    Ugh...

    Hate the protagonist, she is a complete idiot! All the guys are not.good matches for her. It makes no sense how the couple falls in love. Disappointing!

    Great Book!!! A Must Read!!

    I have been looking for something like this for a while!!! I read the book in a few hours! I couldn't put it down! I can't wait for book 2, and 3, and 4, and... Wonderfully written, funny, and easily relatable!!

    Waste of time

    Seeing a free ebook about vampires that's over 500 pages long and has a slightly high rating usually excites me, but with this book I truly despised myself for even trying to read it.
    Here are just a few things that bothered me about this book:

    - Emily's character has no depth whatsoever and she has the mindset of a spoiled thirteen year old. I could not vibe with her at all, because in my opinion she is a flat character and I'm disappointed that the author couldn't execute her main character properly.
    - I know vampires and werewolves are now cool all of a sudden, but seriously, I haven't gotten annoyed by many fantasy books I've read since"Twilight" but "Dare to Bleed" is the exception. As a true paranormal fan, I was upset that the author didn't bring any of her creativity to her explanation of the historical lure to the supernatural creatures she uses. If she feels common belief is wrong, then I'm fine with that, but she offers no insight to why her vampires are different from the norm. She only emphasizes on the sunlight and feeding aspects, and that made her character, "Ezra" truly lack luster in my eyes.
    - The storyline was so boring that not even the "action" could keep me entertained. I won't even go into detail on that one. I'll honestly bore you to death.
    - Grammar isn't horrendous, but the word choice is seriously poor in content. Vocabulary is also very juvenile.

    If you're under 18 or not a reader who enjoys "mature" material, this will be the book for you. But if you have stronger reading tastes, I wouldn't condone sinking your teeth into this one.

    I felt I needed to hurry up and read this book for two reasons.

    I felt I needed to hurry up and read this book for two reasons. One, I wanted to find out what happened and two, I just wanted it to be over. I had invested time to read this and found I was disappointed with this book.

    Dare To Bleed

    Its another run of the mill vampire story with a few other mythical creatures and a modern twist. I did enjoy it for the modern day story line. Its set up to be continued

    Good plot, horrible prose and style.

    This book moves somewhat sluggishly, and it seems like it's been written by a twelve-year-old. This seems like a different version of Twilight, with the mind-reading, family of vamps, werewolves, the evil vampire trying to get the main character, and the main character going off without permission to "save" everyone. The main character aggravated me so much, that I had to put my Nook down and take a break. She acts like a prostitute, and most of the book, she can't make up her mind on which guy she wants to spend time with. I give two stars for the author; she obviously tried her best. I would not reccomend this book.

    a good read

    The book was good other than the girl couldn't make up her mind and it got on my nerves. All in all I would recommended and can't wait till the 2nd book comes out!

    Wow...

    I really love the storyline so far....i def will be reading this one again. I love how this was free just to get me hooked. I read this one in just a day.

    Just to show how hooked i am to this book. Can totally relate to the main character...my reactions would be basicly the same...till the next book....lol.
