    Good Stuff

    Another storyline by Brian Michael Bendis I really enjoyed. It's the bad guys as good guys (and a couple in between) thing again, maybe not as cleverly pulled off as in the original first few issues of the Thunderbolts. As ever with Bendis, though, the dialogue is great and the characterizations mostly well-developed. The Noh-Varr character seemed to be a waste; I'm not sure why he was included here, especially since he eventually disappears with little notice. I did enjoy the social/political satire, what with the government and populace endorsing pretty questionable heroes.

    Dark avengers

    The dark avegers is a good comic so far from what I have from vol 1. Hopefully Vol 2 will be good.

    Off to a great start

    I have been a big comic book fan since I was a kid and it's nice to see them mature along with me. Even though I don't buy as many as I used to (too expensive), I can still get these trades at my local library. After reading Dark Avengers Volume 1 I can definitely say that it's a book that I would be proud to have in my permanent collection. The characters are all pretty well defined in the confines of these pages (even if I didn't know that somehow Wolverine has a son, huh?). I eagerly await reading Volume 2 when it becomes available for me to read. The artwork (by Bagley) is also fantastic. Bendis (the writer) is at the top of his game. His Daredevil stuff was great as was his New Avengers. I was not disappointed and neither would comic fans of team books. Check it out!
