I'm so glad this series keeps going

Sheriff Ace Tyler has played a substantial role in Desire story line so I'm glad I finally got to read his story. Though this would not be my top pick in the Desire series to date, I'm glad I did not miss this one. Ace is Big, Tall and Rough and he has a thing for young Hope Sanderson. It's all he can do to keep his hands off her and yet she still tries to pull this tiger's tail. She's young, small and fairly innocent so Ace figures she could never "deal" with him and his darker desires yet she keeps pushing him. Hope has some dark desires of her own...all revolving around Ace. In a case of stubborn man - more stubborn female; the girl will get her guy in the end and to some it might seem like juvenile antics how she does it but Ace is being a stubborn man and Hope is muddling through the best she can based on her age. She is just honestly showing her age in the way she tries to get Ace; which makes the book more plausible in my view. Here again there is much interaction from the other Desire town characters, the new Lady Desire club and a wacko on the loose that they are all trying to stop. This town is never boring. I especially liked the street corner scene between Blade and his wife - that was funny. I'm so thrilled this series keeps continuing and I look forward to the upcoming "Raw Desire".

    Eve

I have read all the desire series and loved them all. But I have to say this was my least favorite. It was boring. I rated all the other books from the series 4 and 5 , this one I gave it a 3. I only finished it becouse it was part of the series.Don't get me wrong I realy enjoy this writer and I have read all her books , I cant wait till the 8th book is out.

A lot darker than the first four in the series.

I have enjoyed this series very much. Some of them have been menage stories. I was shocked the first time I read a menage. It was by Lora Leigh and call me naive, but I had no idea this happened at all. I've gotten used to this and sometimes find it very romantic. As I said in the headline, this story was a little different. Not a menage, it was BDSM. While I wanted to read Ace"s story, this is not my favorite type of story. Though Blade's Desire (the 2nd in the series) was about a D/s couple, it wasn't this dark. I'm glad I read it for the series continuity but beware it is a LOT darker than the others.

You'll want to live in Desire, OK.

This story was so hot. I love that Ace fought the relationship so hard and that Hope wouldn't let him not fall in love with her. The dynamic of their relationship draws you in, and you find yourself rooting for Hope and her antics. If you read this or anything else by Leah Brooke, you won't be disappointed.
