    I Was a Bit Disapointed

    Though the art was fantastic throughout, two things put me off on this:
    1) From the descriptions, I expected more on the Death Worlds. One column each on three Death Worlds was enough to wet the appitite, but not enough substance to be particularly useful. I would have expected to see at least information for creating a character originating from a Death World.

    2) No depth to the Xenos sets - by this I mean a complete picture of a natural group of Xenos, not the depth of information on individual Xenos. For example they only give information on two species of Tyrannid: Gene Stealer and Lictor. From a playability stand point this isn't really enough to use Tyrannids in a campaign - you would never just run into a Lictor - There would also be Warriors, Termagants, Rippers, Hormagaunts, Ravenors, Gargoyals etc. You would also need information on the hive mind to understand how they all interact. So without all that other info, why bother with the Lictor / Genestealer info?

    They did a decent job on representing Eldar and Orks, but what about Tau and Necrons (REALLY disappointed there was no Necron info :( )? It is entirely possible their intent is that Tau and Necrons do not have a presence in the Calaxis Sub-Sector.

    I would have prefered more depth in the areas they addressed and less broad across different areas, though they did a very in-depth job of representing the species they did portray.

    I would not label this a "Must Have" book (Like the Inquisitor's Handbook), more a nice to have. It does have a lot of potential to provide adventure seeds.
