How does the blind find love?
A sweet, romantic story about finding love using the eyes of the heart.

When Ashley meets talented writer Anthony Lang, she falls in love with him at first sight. How could she not when he has everything she wants in a man--attractive, intelligent, witty and kind? The only problem--he is blind, and not because of that, really. But because he feels it makes him a burden to any woman who would love him.

But Ashley is persistent. She knows that finding true love doesn't always happen in a lifetime, and she believes she has found hers in him. If only she could make him realize that he has found his love, his chance of happiness, in her, too. Would he see reason with his heart, or has it become blind, too?

EXCERPT:
"You're right, Ashley. I do have feelings for you and I have had almost since the first day you came here. But you're a vibrant, beautiful and talented woman. I can't saddle you with the life you would have with me. I'm blind, Ashley. You have no idea what that could mean to us. How can I make you happy if I can't even see you?"

Ashley was standing right in front of him now and she took his hands in hers. Then she moved them up to her face.

"Here," she said. "I want you to 'see' me." And she helped his fingers start tracing her face, slowly and gently.

"I was right," Anthony said softly, smiling. "You are beautiful."

She nodded, and she let his hand feel the movement. "Feel my skin, Anthony. Feel the heat. I love the touch of your skin on my face, as I know I'll love your skin touching my body. Don't you want that? Do you really believe we need your sight for us to fully love each other?"

His breath seemed to get caught in his throat.

Meet the Author

The moment Sandra Ross held her first romance novel when she was ten, she knew she was going to write romance. At thirty now, a prolific reader and a freelance writer, she's since then expanded her preferences from just romance to romance with a dash of now trending sub-genres—paranormal , fantasy, sci-fi even, and erotica. She loves challenging herself and would write on a dare. On a normal day, she would be found in her herb garden collecting spices for her kitchen or ingredients for her potions; in her huge eclectic Provencal kitchen with the big modern oven cooking pots and pans of food for her family of one husband and three kids (an ardent daughter and two boisterous sons) that'll probably last for weeks; in her library with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and an e-reader in her hands as she reads the latest short story erotic hit; or scribbling pages upon pages of different erotic lifestyles, searching for the one that feels like it was inspired by just the right mix of passion, story line, and sex. Aside from these activities, the rest of the time she'd be found in front of her laptop typing the latest Sandra Ross concoction for her readers.

Sandra is certainly delivering this delightful romance between Erick and Hollianne in doses and as much as I would have liked it all in one book to enjoy a marathon read, I must say it is a bit refreshing to take a breather between each chapter.

Hollianne has been suspecting all along that there was something very unique about Erick, something out of this world that she could not be certain about. She has thought many times that Erick is Angelic but she has no idea just how right she is to think that. I really don't know how Hollianne could be so oblivious for so long. She reminds me of Louis Lane and Superman. The only difference is even though she is suspicious, the idea that Erick could actually be an Angel is really crazy.

Angels don't touch the way Erick does and they certainly don't love that way either. This is what really brings on the confusion. Finally Erick confesses and Hollianne is face with the truth. Her reaction puts him in the very same place he had been chastising the human race for.

Everything had been a dream until this installment. Erick not only had to get used to his human form but the feelings that stirred within. Now when he reveals the truth he has to endure the same kind of trepidation the human race has faced for centuries. His heart is in danger of being broken. He experiences not only love but fear.

The thing that I did not like about this book was the language used to illustrate their sexual encounters. I felt that since it's a supernatural story, Sandra could have been more creative with the words used to describe the characters sexes and the act. I felt softer references would have delivered the same impact if not deeper. Words like "cock" could have been substituted for something more subtle like "member" or "staff".

Sandra did well to ensure that in terms of sensuality all five senses are fully engaged. This series hasn't disappointed me yet and I am confident that when it finally concludes I would be completely satisfied. If you haven't been following from the start then you should try to. This is not the kind of story that you want to jump in from the middle.
