Meet the Author

I'm a stay at home mom with three kids, a dog and an active imagination. I spent the first 34 years of my life in Alaska, land of the midnight sun, but these days I'm located in Washington, and am enjoying a much warmer sun :) I'm married to my high school sweetheart, John, who is known to bring me flowers "just because".

My leisure time is filled with gardening, crochet, knitting, sewing, art and reading.

This is a short rendition of "The Charmer" but you see the story through the eyes of Wiley. Short story and a good read but nothing new after "The Charmer".

It was good to have Wiley's perspective. Unfortunately some of the details did not mesh with what was written in "The Charmer". The last third of the book was not as detailed and I agree with the other reviews that it feels rushed. Bottom line, it's still a good read and provided enough detail to be worth the time to read it.

It was nice to get Weily' s point of view on the story, but with out reading the charmer its not worth your time. It also felt like the author got bored and rushed through things at the end. No mention of the more ineresting events at the end of the charmer or Weily's own near death experience. All in all an okay effort and a fair nights read.

Not as good as the previous books. There were a lot of errors through out the book. Towards the end the author started getting the names of the characters mixed up, which made it confusing at times.

Filled in a lot of blanks from the first book. Should really be added into the charmer. It would really fix some of the flaws in the series. Great read in all....

I enjoyed this read. It was nice to see the story from Wiley''s point of view. I wish that the story would have gone on to show her feelings towards her mother.

Was really glad to be able to find out Jayems and Wiley's story. I really like these characters.

I am so glad that we get to see Wiley's story and view. Very well written, and while the story does overlap with The Charmer, it very much holds its own in thetms of storyline
