This, the free version of Dark Night of the Soul, is just as good as the ten dollar versions you can get. In fact, it is identical to those. This is the original holy book that St. John of the Cross wrote, and I highly recommend it. Its wording and sentence structure may be a bit confusing to some, but it adds irreplaceable beauty to the text, profound inspiration to the message, and pure wonder to the souls of all its readers.
