Overview

The COIL adventure continues in Dark Rule, Book Three in the COIL Series by D.I. Telbat, taking the reader from the South Pacific to the Greek Isles—from the depths of the ocean to the cone of an unstable volcano.

Nathan Isaacson—presumed dead by fellow agents but is now trained by master spy, Luigi Putelli—begins his solo spy career under ex-CIA agent Corban Dowler. When Corban loses contact with a beautiful Chinese agent, he sends Nathan to locate her.

As Nathan infiltrates the underwater exploration team of a dark foe bent on ruling at the expense of the lives of Christians, it proves to be a spy game that tests Nathan's spiritual and physical muscle.

Two years later, darkness has settled over the Island of Zalzuna in the Greek Isles, when the volcanic island under communist rule is ready to erupt. Nathan is sent to the island to gain intel on missing missionaries.

Heather Kooper and her team of Special Forces Christians are called in to join two adventurous teenagers—Walter, a chess prodigy, and Brad, a Major League hopeful. Following the trail of the missing Jamison family, the team unearths a dark scheme. COIL operative Nathan Isaacson prays he can save them from the claws about to ensnare them all—even if it costs him his life!

Dark Rule is a 98,000-word Christian adventure, with cover design by Streetlight Graphics. Join COIL once again as their light continues to shine in the dark recesses of the world. But there is no redemption without sacrifice…

Editorial Reviews

http://ditelbat.com - Ralph Corum
“Dark Rule was just as exciting as David Telbat’s previous books, with on-the-edge-of your-seat situations, seemingly impossible predicaments, and even a little romance among agents. I found that I was kept spellbound as well as continuing to see God’s hand in directing agents and understanding even more the ones they have come to save, who have given their lives in service to God’s kingdom going forth around the world. I highly recommend to all Christian readers."

"Telbat has done it again. Combining an exciting story with the ongoing struggle between God's servants and dark rulers of this age. Woven into this adventure are real issues that Christians living in this world must deal with and the sometimes high cost of getting the gospel out there. Entertaining and spiritually challenging."

Meet the Author

D. I. Telbat is a Christian author who writes in many genres, but especially Christian action-adventure, espionage, and suspense. David wrote his first novel at age 14, and hasn't stopped since!

David's hours are spent doing what he loves—writing and Christian ministry.

Getting into trouble with the law as a young man became a turning point in David's life. The Lord used that experience to draw David into a personal relationship with Him. Re-focusing his life, David now seeks to honor God with his life and his writing.

On his Telbat's Tablet website, David offers his free weekly Christian adventure and suspense short stories, or serialized novels, his author reflections, writing experiences, and occasional challenges to the Christian Church. His desire is to entertain, but to also bring attention to the Persecuted Church, therefore, many of D.I. Telbat's stories are about persecuted Christians—their hardships, their sacrifices, and their rescues.
