Very unsatisfying, inexplicable, and annoying ending, otherwise, would have given this a 4 or 5. The authors passed by a logical ending, continued, and then ended the book as if they were fed up with writing it, ran out of time, or didn't know where to take it from there. If the idea is to follow with a sequel, don't annoy your readers.

    Bad Ending

Would give it a four star except that this book takes the cake on one of the worst endings of any book I've ever read and I've read lots!

    Disappointing ending

Could not put the book down. I got to the ending and thought it was a joke. I could not believe that such a good storyline could receive such a poor ending. I am afraid to read anything else by this author brcause i do not want to be disappointed again.

    Three stars is good........

Good up until the end. Left me hanging. I was loving the book and then.... on page 697/698 it dropped off to a dismal end.
Not even the promise of a sequal that I can tell. Because of this disappointment I will not read from this author again.

Not really a book at all.

I did not read the reviews first, oh, how I wish I had. I was excited over the length of this book and the overview made it sound so promising. It started off slow and then the pace picked up. I was really getting into the story despite the many editing problems. I could hardly wait to get to the ending. Well...I still can't wait, but will have too, perhaps forever, because this novel did not have a conclusion of any kind. I do not even consider this a book as it just stopped. There was not any closure of any threads what so ever. What a waste of time. There isn't even a sequal to wrap up all the loose ends. I do not recommend this book to any readers of any age. If forced, I would say adults only. This is not chick lit. There are adult themes and some pretty graphic details of murder and violence.

    Worst Ending was terrible

I looked for a sequel since the writer forgot to end the story. I felt I waisted my time reading this book.

    Very good until the end

I hate it when a good book (even with typos)has an ending that doesn't end with you knowing "they all lived happily ever after. Without giving the end away, you don't know what happens to the main characters. Will there be another book with them in it? Will try another from this author just to see if all the endings are like this one.

    The ending????

After a very dragging beginning of this book, the author chooses to end it in this fashion! If this is the best that he can do, then I will be reading no more of his books!!!!

I enjoyed this book very much. Even though for a mystery and knowing who the killer was it kept you guessing what would happen next. I liked the main charactors and how the author showed them as being realalistic in today's world. The ending was the best. Who now?

    Wtf was that ending?

I absolutely loved this story until the last few pages. I can appreciate a surprise ending but this one was just awful! I feel intensely let down by the author. I would like to give this a five star rating but not with the as-written conclusion. Please rewrite the end!

Liked the book, but HATED the ending!

I don't mind not having all the questions answered, but that was one of the MOST DISAPOINTING, SUCKY, LET-DOWN ENDINGS EVER!!!!!! I did like the rest of it though

    Too bad

I was really lookimg forward to giving my review on this book. The beginning was a bit draggy, but once you got past the first 20 pages you were sucked in to a well written story that would keep you guessing until the end.

And then I reached the end of the story, and was completely disappointed. As others have pointed out it felt like the author ran out of steam and slapped the last couple of pages together without really giving you an ending. It felt like a cheat. While not to the degree this book disappointed me, I have noticed in these free smashwords books, that authors who are striving to write a series tend to leave the endings in the books too open ended and without finish. They would do much better to write each book so that it can stand on it's own, leaving the reader with a sense of completion and an anticipation for the next book in the series. You want to read what next will happen and not be left just hanging unresolved.

I really would recommend to the author to re-work the ending.
