Overview

D.I. Telbat continues the COIL Series suspense in Dark Vessel, Book 4, when COIL founder Corban Dowler is forced underground after he is the target of a car bomb. On the streets of Manhattan, his vigorous covert investigation begins when his Muhammad ibn Affal alias is compromised. But the knot of darkness he hopes to untangle is more sinister than he could imagine.

Italian spook, Luigi Putelli, rises to the COIL challenge, and attempts to stand vigil in Corban's absence. Luigi scours the world to help those in need—even when his past threatens to stop him. From New Jersey, to Bangladesh, to Nigeria, Luigi is determined to serve Corban's God.

Chloe Azmaveth, ex-Mossad agent, hunts down every clue she can find to locate Corban. The web of deceit grows complicated as a government agency goes rogue to cover up a deadly secret. The closer she gets to Corban, the more her hope wanes, and it seems that Corban Dowler may be beyond saving!

Join COIL in Dark Vessel by D.I. Telbat, with cover design by Streetlight Graphics, as it rallies its best agents for a battle against darkness from the streets of New York to the tropics of the Caribbean. With evil forces at work, and the Dark Vessel raising his ugly head, we learn that…there is no redemption without sacrifice.

Dark Vessel includes FREE map downloads, character sketch, Dark Vessel terms, endnotes on Gospel for Asia, and BONUS Chapter 1 of upcoming novel, ARABIAN VARIABLE.

Editorial Reviews

Telbat's Tablet website - Allison I.
Dark Vessel will not disappoint. The action begins immediately on page one and marks the return of two of my favorite characters, Corban Dowler and Luigi Putelli, with new characters from Mr. Telbat's new series, Believers Boot Camp. The book is uniquely divided into sections told in first person by Corban, Luigi, and Chloe. Elements of the former books are included—intrigue, suspense, action, covert operations, and strong Christian message. It will have you reading long into the night.

Meet the Author

D. I. Telbat is a Christian fiction author who writes in many genres, but especially Christian action-adventure, espionage, and suspense. David wrote his first novel at age 14, and hasn't stopped since!

He studied writing in college, and worked in the newspaper field, but now is doing what he loves: writing and ministry. When not involved in ministry, David Telbat focuses on writing novels, short stories, blog posts, and curriculum for prison ministries.

Getting into trouble with the law as a young man became a turning point in David's life. The Lord used that experience to draw David into a personal relationship with Him. Re-focusing his life, David now seeks to honor God with his life and his writing.

On his Telbat's Tablet website, Telbat offers his free weekly Christian adventure and suspense short stories, or serialized novels, to entertain, but also to bring attention to the Persecuted Church. His author reflections, writing experiences, and occasional challenges to the Christian Church are provided weekly as well.

Because of his interest in the Persecuted Church and missions, many of D.I. Telbat's stories are about persecuted Christians, their hardships, their sacrifices, and their rescues. Several of his novels also include espionage and spiritual warfare.

The COIL Series begins with Dark Liaison, A Christian Suspense Novel, Book One, followed by Dark Hearted, Book Two, and Dark Rule, Book Three. Other novels by D.I. Telbat include Sea Scribe, a Mission Suspense; God's Colonel, an End Times Novel; and Jaguar Dusk, a Christian Special Forces Novel. He also offers a free ebook of short stories, called COIL Extractions. These books are all found on the Barnes and Noble website.

A complete biography can be found on the Telbat's Tablet website, as well as a list of credits, which includes print and digital publications, and print anthologies.
