Was a good book if it had said it was book #14 & #15 of the series. So I would not wasted my money purchasing a book I already have.

I love Christine Feehan books, but it is not clear from this newly released novella and novel, that the novel is an old one. If you look at the title on the front of the book and the description it's not clear that the novel is old. All of her book's start with "dark" in this Carpathian series, so unless you look back you would not know that. Very dissappointing.

Okay first of all if you are a Christine Feehan fan then you should already know that her books will have either alot of sex or hard core porn so if you don't like it then don't read it or buy it. I for one love her dark series and her drake sisters series and basically I just love her books not only do I own every one of them I can't wait for her next one. Second of all did you even take the time to read the small blip to give you an idea of the story if it sounded like one of her other stories then take the time to go look at your book collection if you have one then you would know if you want to buy it or not with that said I will start reading it anyways it is always good to reread books at times and I think this is one of those times.

**not a review** piggybacking off of darklover85, i agree. if youre a CF fan & read her books, particularly the Dark series like you claim, you should already KNOW that series contains HEAVY scenes. the Carpathians, by their very NATURE are a highly sexual species. its embedded in their DNA, soul & demon. once theyve found & turned their lifemates, it becomes as necessary 2 their survival as needing blood. even in her Leopard series, she explains that species need 4 it. so dont blame CF for bad parenting. if you dont want your kids getting a hold of YOUR books & reading them in YOUR house, heres a thought, DONT leave them lying around or in a place where theyre easily accessible. i LOVE her books. shes one of my fav authors. i personally havent been disappointed yet. some take issue w/the same formula being used in her Dark series. theyre Carpathians, finding their lifemates & killing vampires is what they do. unless she adds the Drake, Leopard, Ghost Walker & Spirit Bound series into the mix, imo, i dont see how else she COULD write it differently. for me, same formula or not, i'll STILL love reading her books & remain a fan, while waiting w/anticipation for her next novel. especially the Dark series

It has been stated in numerous pubs, including her official website that Ms Feehan is dealing with health issues and that the last couple of books felt 'off' to me, as if perhaps the ghostwriter is careening off the rails, and that to keep the money rolling in why not re-publish older books together and give them new titles. Used to love, love, love this author and her work but after the last book I bought and RETURNED for a refund (since I felt it wasn't her work) I have just given up on her and her ghostwriter.
