One goal consumes Chazma Donnelly: find the dark sorcerer who murdered her parents.
When the trail leads her to Ireland, she takes a job cataloging a private library. But she doesn’t expect to find a manor house that eerily echoes one in her dreams, or an employer whose touch awakens a savage darkness in her.
The attraction between Chaz and Jethro McBain is volatile, but darkness surrounds his aura. Chaz doesn’t trust him, even though it is his voice she hears in her sleep, and his touch that sizzles the blood in her veins.
As Chazma’s investigation widens, a series of local murders shows the killer knows of her obsession.
Will Chaz’s need for revenge take her from the edge of evil into a black pit where she can no longer find herself? Or can she find love in the midst of darkness?

Darklove by Claudy Conn Chazma Donnelly is out for vengeance. So

    Darklove by Claudy Conn
Chazma Donnelly is out for vengeance. Some monster, literally, has killed her parents and she will not let it live. So off to Brionn, Ireland to hunt for Dark X, as she has named this beast. The tales of mystery from the magical Ireland are no stranger to Chaz as she’s not quite human herself. She expected her new employer, the lord of the Brionn, to be older. If only! As she focuses on her revenge she constantly fights her hormones for the not so old and definitely hot, Lord Jethro McBain.

Jethro is doing some fighting of his own when the young beauty comes to work for him. His grandmother had an intuition that Chazma needed to be the one he hired and she also wanted his promise to leave the lass alone. That promise may be harder than he thought.

This was another exciting paranormal by Claudy Conn where you enter a world of both darkness and light, magical and mystical and even a touch of Fae. Never quite sure if someone is the good or bad guy.

Ireland back drop, castles, romance and hot sex hmm what more can I say? haha I loved this book right from the beginning. I was pulled in with Claudy’s vivid details. Claudy describes the magic so well you can imagine it in your mind with no problem.

I am a sucker for paranormal regency romance books. They are pretty much my favorite. I swear I was born in the time :)

There was something very enchanting and magical to this book. The love story was so sweet but there was also darkness to it as well “Darklove” describes it perfectly.

Chaz is a blonde, green eyed beauty who is coming into her own as a witch. Her parents were brutally murdered and she will not rest until she finds out who is responsible and makes them pay for it. That is until she meets Jethro.. He is handsome, dark and dangerous. He makes her feel things she has never felt before. Can she trust him? She knows he is hiding something from her.
Can they work together? Well read this book and find out!!!

The chemistry between Chaz and Jethro was sizzling hot.. Their encounter in the study was erotic and oh so sexy!!

This is a must read for all paranormal, regency and magic lovers :)

    Interesting

So I have come to find that I'm not a big fan of stories written in 3rd person...and does the main female character have to say how big hunky the main male character is. We get it already let's move on shall we.

    Really romantic

This was a really fun read. I liked chaz and jethro. I think they could have gotten together a little sooner but all in all, a good story. And no nose flicking by jethro. That was good. I hate nose touching. Phyl p

I just finished this great book. Claudy Conn’s storytelling is amazing. I always feel apart of her story and this book wasn’t any different. The characters come to life with her writing and the adventure you find captures your interest and grows with the book. Another excellent reading choice.

To tell the truth when I first started reading this book it some

To tell the truth when I first started reading this book it somehow seemed familiar. I have read almost all of Claudy's books and began to wonder if I had read it maybe under another title. As the book unfolded I realized it was different but still familiar. The familiarity of the book was not enough to put me off. I really enjoyed reading this book as it had a surprise ending and left open the possibility of another series, which Claudy is capable of. I do recommend this book. When you start reading make sure you have time because it hard to pit down.

ANOTHER FANTASTIC HIT FOR MS. CONN!! I have read a lot of this

ANOTHER FANTASTIC HIT FOR MS. CONN!! I have read a lot of this author's books, and this is amazing. It has passion, humor, intrigue, suspense, and just darn good. Chaz is a strong, wonderful h, and I felt a connection between she and Jet (H) right away. There is lovemaking, that is just descriptive enough to warm you on a cold night - not vulgar. The story is set in Ireland and I loved the way the author captured the dialogue. This is a story that will have you signing up for more of her books. (ljb)

As with all Claudy's books this a fabulous read with a touch of

As with all Claudy's books this a fabulous read with a touch of Fae. After her mother and stepfather are murdered, Chazma takes a job in Ireland and hopes to find clues as to what happened to her parents. Once in Ireland, she's unsure of who to trust. Her boss, Jethro is a man that exudes sex appeal. Unlike any man before, her body is responding to him and so is her dark side. He has magic to himself, but she can't read what he is. He's not a warlock and he's not fae, but there is a strong darkness surrounding him. She should know, Chazma isn't what she seems. She is part white witch and part fae herself, but there is a darkness that no one else has. It's the side she has to control and watch, but it may be the side that can help her with the murderer. Everyone who has magic is suspect to Chazma.

This books pulls you in at the very beginning. Chazma is a very relatable character. She is innocent in a worldly sense, but when it comes to other-worldly she's not. She is very open and draws people to her easily. I love that even as the men are attracted to her, she senses it yet isn't sure of herself. For a beautiful woman, she doesn't try to use that beauty and exploit it. She's very down to earth and comfortable with who she is. Jethro is a character that at times I loved to hate. You can tell he is fighting his attraction and he comes across harsh at times. He more than makes up for it by the end. I love, love, love the ending.

This book is fabulous and I wish it were part of a series so we could read more about the characters. I fell in love with Chazma and Jethro by the end of the book, maybe even Tom. The characters all brought something to the storyline. This books will leave you wondering who the culprit is and what all the secrets are until the end.

    Hello

A 180 page free story about a Fae witch and a Fae Druid priest plus 2 excerpts. Girl gets accepted employment at an Irish country manor and shows up at the door in denim mini- skirt, snagged nylons, and high heels she falls off of - stands in the driveway mouth hanging open with denim purse dangling from arm (the only material to impress your new employer, a lord, with is denim because there's nothing fashionable to wear in New York City) til the lord takes her by the arm into the manor and parlor, where she promptly goes to giant fireplace (it is a manor house) and bends over to warm her hands, and proceeds to scarf all existing food on tray into her mouth while babbling that he can't be a lord because he isn't old enough. Where did this college graduate get her couth? Of course, she passes and recognizes gorgeous Fae men in New York but has the continual running hots for the lord at first glance and that goes on for 35 pages. And how dare someone ignore her when she is so hot. And she is so special that she does not need to keep promises, and gets drunk gulping down two shots of fine imported brandy. This one is class all the way.
The story is mostly repetitive narrative with her dialog.

From previous reviews I see this was Claudy's first book with Fae's in it, before the Spellbound series. Even so it was a fast and exciting read. I did wish she would have given Chazma's Royal Daoine Fae father a name. This just comes from my obsession with The Spellbound and Through Time series and how they all related to each other.  Though I totally loved it. Another Awesome read by Claudy Conn!
