    Darkness Below Review

I must say, after reading every book in the Bionicle Adventures series, this was one of the best books in the series, if not THE best book in the series. Although it didn't really move on with the basic plot that was followed by comics books and movies, but was sort of like an extra book... I didn't care! The use of the Rahkshi characters again was much appreciated. Also, there were so many creatures that were used in the story that some fans would never be able to see unless they read this book. It would be a shame to miss out on these characters. The main villain (or rather villainess) was very sinister, and her reasons for being evil were much better than most villains created for stories. Her name was Krahka (she was a shapeshifter). She really brought the story to life. And as always, Greg used each Toa (main heros) just enough. They were each very well portrayed. And the ending of the book is really cool. But you'd have to read for yourself to see. I agree with a previous review, which said that you need to read the Trial by Fire book first though. But with that said, this is one of the most enjoyable books in the series.

Third in the series - (I'm behind on my reviews!)

Well, this one is very good - but it hardly moves the story forward. But it is a very good and interesting story. It features the Toa Metru battling the shapeshifting Krahka, who wants to defeat them, trap the Matoran and rule the island all herself. Very good book!

    It's a amazing world, BIONICLE...

Okay, READ Trail by Fire FIRST. It's just a good idea. On with the review: Now this book was definetly the best BIONICLE book I've read yet. The action is fast and furious, the villan is an exclusive to BIONICLE, and the story here is very well weaved in. In the introduction, on Mata Nui, Jaller is helping the Matoran build boats for the journey back home. Hahli comes up and asks him if he can come with her to the Amaja Circle at the Kini-Nui to hear another of Turaga Vakama's tales. It was nice to see the Matoran here. You've seen the Toa reflecting their thoughts about Metru Nui in the previous books, but here you can get an idea of what the Matoran think of all this. It was nice. Here's the basic story: The Toa Metru are heading for the Colliseum to tell the world they are Toa-Heros, only to run into Nuparu, an engineer from Onu-Metru, who tells them that a leak has sprung from the sea and will flood the Archives and release all the exhibits if not stopped. The archivists are too afraid to go there, for many storys told of that place. They procede, only to run into numerous Rahi, and an evil shape-shifter as their principle villan. This villan is what really excited me. So far we've had demonic evil dudes who just wanna take charge. Well, THIS one is a villianess! That's right! A woman villan! And she's evil! That's a definite first right there, but here she's trying to defend her territory, and that's not an opinion, that's the facts. She's a shape-shifter, and can take on every shape she's seen. At the end of the book, she turns into a combination of all six Toa Metru, complete with all the powers. They manage to defeat her...sorta. I don't wanna give away too much! You'll have to read it. What's gonna happen next on Metru Nui could be anything. We'll have to let the future tell us! Or the past.
