Tommy, Dwight, and the rest of their friends from The Strange Case of Origami Yoda are back, and so is Dwight's wise, eponymous finger puppet, Origami Yoda, who has also transitioned to seventh grade. But antagonistic classmate Harvey, who has taken to wearing a Darth Paper finger puppet, is slowly turning the class toward the Dark Side. The middle school years can be a tricky time for many boys and girls, but with Origami Yoda around to give advice and solve problems, middle school is much easier for the students at McQuarrie Middle School. However, this soon changes when Harvey creates his Darth Paper and the forces of darkness seem to take over the school. Dwight, the creator of Origami Yoda, is suspended from school and about to be sent to the Correctional and Remedial Education Facility (CREF), which means that Origami Yoda will no longer be around to save the day. Desperate to keep their friend Dwight and Origami Yoda out of CREF, Tommy and Kellen set out to gather a collection of stories that show all the good that Dwight and Origami Yoda have done at McQuarrie Middle School. This middle reader consists of a compilation of short stories written by friends of Dwight attempting to convince the school board that Dwight and Origami Yoda must be allowed to stay in school. Will Dwight's friends convince the school board to let him stay at school or will the students of McQuarrie Middle School be forced to endure the dark rein of Darth Paper? This book will most likely appeal to elementary boys who are Star Wars fans. Can tiny paper guru Origami Yoda save nerdy Dwight (from whose finger Yoda pontificates) from Principal Rabbski's unfounded suspension (and worse)?     Awesome book!

    Anybody here like Star Wars? Anybody like Harry Potter? Anybody like awesome funniness? Anybody like rapid, intelligent, witty, awesome, and hard-to-put-down reads? Oh yeah. I though so. Try "Darth Paper Strikes Back" by Tom Angleberger. This one of my favorites, and might be yours also. I would probably read "The Strange Case of Origami Yoda" first to get you introduced to the characters , the plot, and some other stuff. But when you're done, read this book if you want to be awesome, read this book. They even tell you how to make a Origami Darth Paper! I also recommend "H.I.V.E. The Higher Institute of Villainous Education", "H.I.V.E. The Overlord Protocol", "H.I.V.E. Escape Velocity", "H.I.V.E. Dreadnought", "H.I.V.E. Rogue" and "H.I.V.E. Zero Hour." Also, I think it is a great book to do book reports, book talks, or any other report about books because the awesome precise details and the great voice! It like the author is right there with you, and each character's opinions and feelings are different then each other. (By the way, I think I am more like Kellen than anyone else.) You will love this book! It's just like a road; unexpected twists and turns and you never know what going to be on the next page. Once, I tried to guess what was going to happen on the next page and I was 100% wrong. This is the best book ever! You have to read this or Dwight, Tommy, Harvey, Kellen, and the others will come and slice you with a lightsaber! Please read and recommend!

    Highly reacommendet

    Darth Paper Strikes back
    Have you ever wanted to read a book that combines Star Wars and Comedy? That¿s what the book ¿Darth Paper Strikes back¿ by Tom Angelberger is! Dwight is a 7th grader who made an Origami Yoda puppet. Dwight gets suspended in the first week of school because of Harvey. Harvey is his enemy who made an Origami Darth Vader. The School Board decides to put Dwight in CREF a school for bad students. Tommy and Kellen who are Dwight¿s friends make a case file to save Dwight. Harvey and Darth Paper steal the case file and write their comments all over it. Tommy wants to save Dwight in a school board meeting. Will Tommy save Dwight? To find out you should read the book! I would give the book 8 stars out of 10 because in some parts it gets boring. I¿d recommend this book mostly for middle school students.

    Excellent Sequel This Is!!

    I was very excited to read what would happen next for Dwight and friends in this second installment in the Origami Yoda series. It was more fun than I thought it would be!! Mr Angleberger has given us another great insight to what's happening with McQuarrie Middle School students (with a Star Wars twist)! I will definitely be recommending this to all the young reader customers and Star Wars fans too!! I look forward to more from this very talented author!

    NOT FOR NOOK HD (no PagePerfect, i.e. graphically enhanced, books are).  
    They don't tell you this when you purchase a NOOK HD - which is the updated version of the Nook Color.

    The newest reader gets fewer compatible books, and none with enhanced graphics!  Nice.
