Meet the Author

Greg Hartley and Maryann Karinch are the coauthors of How to Spot a Liar. Hartley graduated from the U.S. Army Interrogation School, the Anti-Terrorism Instructor Qualification Course, the Principle Protection Instructor Qualification Course, several Behavioral Symptom Analysis Seminars, and SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape) school. He lives in Atlanta. Karinch is the author of nine books, most of which are about aspects of human behavior. She is an accomplished extreme athlete and holds a master's degree in theatre from The Catholic University of America. She lives in Estes Park, CO.
