Alexa was a spitfire that made Dating a Cougar a really enjoyable book to read. I also enjoyed Casey's Marine personality and jealous
streak over an alpha woman when he was an alpha male. Their constant bickering was different than most books I've read.

Fifty year old lingerie designer, Alexa Ranger has given up on find true love and she has also given up on dating.  She is happy with the friends and family she has and doesn’t need anyone else.  So you could imagine her surprise when she finds herself attracted to a much younger man.

Casey Carter, a medically retired Marine and widower, has been through a lot for his 38 years.  An injury while serving his country and losing his wife to cancer.  He hasn’t felt anything for a woman in a long time until he meets Alexa Ranger.  He is drawn to her instantly and he will stop at nothing to get what he wants.

WOW….This book was amazing!  I had heard great things about it but hadn’t had the privilege of reading it yet.  But I remedied that and I am so thankful I did.  I can’t wait to read more of this series and more of Donna’s books!  The humor was great and the romance was steamy!  I still find myself grinning over some of the scenes.  I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves romance!

Alexa Ranger is a successful business woman in every aspect of her life but men. She is thinking of swearing them off like her friend Lauren, but her other friend Regina thinks she is a fool and should keep looking. She meets her daughters boyfriend's cousin Casey Carter...a retired Marine. They have an instant connection but he is 38 and she is 50! Alexa fights it with everything she has, Casey Carter though isn't giving up.

The first few chapters I was about ready to give up. I was getting tired of the back and forth Alexa was giving Casey. I felt Casey was a very lovable character...who went through his own tragedies and is still living his life. He was the only reason I kept reading....then it got pretty good. I was satisfied with the end result and will read the next one Dating Dr. Notorious.
