    SUPERIOR EROTIC HORROR GRAPHIC NOVEL

Veteran writer Ron Fortier and former DC Artist, Rob Davis, have produced a stunning, gothic horror romance not to be missed. Intended for a mature audience, this graphic novel tells how Marya Dracula, the daughter of the famous Count Dracula, encounters young Manfred von Richthofen just prior to the start of World War I. She becomes obsessed with him and follows his career as he becomes the deadly flying ace known as the Red Baron. Finally she travels to Berlin, to seduce the handsome war hero and they begin a torrid love affair with him unaware of her true, undead nature. When Manfred is killed by enemy before Marya can transform him into a vampire, she seeks vengeance on all allied pilots, using her vampiric powers to send forth wave after wave of deadly bats to bring down their planes, and armies of rats to attack their airfields. Yet hidden in her rage, is a break heart seeking salvation. This is a great read, both in story and art. And leave us not overlook artist Mark Maddox's stunning painted cover! If you love horror and fantasy, this is for you!

    I Also Recommend:

    FANGTASTIC!

The Internet has become instrumental in allowing comic creators and publishers to get their work out there. No longer smothered by the big comic companies, new voices seem to be popping up on a daily basis. And this has led to a wellspring of new series and directions for the genre.

Case in point: DAUGHTER OF DRACULA by Ron Fortier and Rob Davis.

Published by Wild Wolf Entertainment, DAUGHTER OF DRACULA stands head and shoulders above the competition. It is one of the finest comic releases in recent years.

It all begins with that heart-stopping cover by artist Mark Maddox and this is one graphic novel that delivers on its promises.

Set up as an action-packed, erotic, horror tale, DAUGHTER OF DRACULA blends these three elements to perfection, providing a reading experience one is not likely to forget.

The set up is deceptively simple, yet captivating: what if Dracula's daughter met and fell in love with the Red Baron. However what comes from this premise is no "simple" tale. Rather the reader is presented with a genuine love story mixed in amongst some spectacular actions sequences and enough erotic fanging to satisfy any horror fan. There's not a little something for everyone, there's a lot! And the novel satisfies on many levels. It's a love story, a war story, an historical account of the life of Baron Von Richtofen, there is tragedy and triumph and genuine emotion. It harkens back to the classic horror films of yesteryear but, with its graphic sex, nudity and violence, it appeals to modern day readers who have seen it all and more in a genre that knows no bounds.

Cagey comic scribe Ron Fortier (Terminator: Burning Earth) gives us a plot that moves quickly and contains enough twists and turns to make the journey worthwhile. The blend of action and romance really moves well. The war scenes are gruesome, the battles and aerial dogfights move like lightning and the personal moments between Marya (the title character) and Richtofen are intense enough to keep the reader riveted to the page.

The artwork by veteran comic artist Rob Davis (Star Trek) is nothing short of breathtaking. It is detailed, lovingly put on the page with care not only in conveying the action but it can also be studied simply as visually stunning art. The use of black and white to tell this tale only heightens the reading experience. Davis has put down some of the best comic art this reader has seen in many a year.

At $17.99 for a 112 page, original graphic novel, this book is an absolute steal! Created by industry professionals, it is a solid a piece of work both in presentation and execution that can easily go toe to toe with any graphic novel from the "big" comic companies and surpasses most of what's currently on the market. Don't miss it!
