Overview

Four friends. Four mysterious powers.

They seem like ordinary girls living in Los Angeles. But they each have a secret. Vanessa can become invisible. Catty can travel through time. Serena reads minds, and Jimena has premonitions. As they become friends, their incredible powers bind them together as The Daughters of the Moon.

In Book One, Vanessa, who has always had the power to become invisible, discovers that she and her best friend Catty, a time-traveler, are goddesses of the moon who must fight together to overcome the evil Atrox.

In Book Two, Serena, a moon goddess who has the gift of reading minds, is torn between joining the dark force of the evil Atrox and staying with her friends.

In Book Three, ex-gang member Jimena is terrified by the reappearance of Veto, who was once the love of her life. Veto was killed a year ago by a rival gang. Or was he? Jimena discovers that he has made a devil's bargain, which could cost both of them their lives.

Daughters of the Moon is one book that actually holds three seperate stories. These stories are Goddess of the Night, Into the Cold Fire, and Night Shade. All of the stories flow together seamlessly and by the second book the storyline takes you into it. The characters in this book are written extremely well and you start to feel like you know them! In Goddess of the Night you first meet the four girls that comprise these three books. Vanessa's best friend Catty runs away and leaves no clue as to why she would do this. Until Vanessa meets Serena and Jimena Vanessa thinks she'll never find her and never have anyone that will ever understand her strange power again. Until Jimena and Serena convince her otherwise. In Into the Fire Serena is being tracked by the ancient evil the Atrox, and someone is stealing her memories. Can she find out who it is before it's too late and she is taken into the fire? In Night Shade Jimena thinks she's seeing things when the old love of her life starts showing up everywhere she looks. The problem with this is that he died years ago, after Jimena had seen it in a premonition, and all of her premonitions come true. Is he back from the dead, or did he never die?

i highly reccommmend this seris to young teenage girls.i actually started reading this seris wen iwas in 8th grade. the books arent that long but worth the read. you have to read it from the very firts book or you'll be asking yourself alot about the characters. im 17 now and this books describes alot of what young girls in high school go through which would keep us wondering what the girls will decide to do.it shows strenghts and weakness in friendships and what jeeps their sister bonds close even though they are only friends. this seris is MUCH better then that twilight crap.

So confused on the way these books are being sold (for my nook). I read this series when i was 13 (or 14, i was in 8th grade) thought i'd check up on this series maybe see if any other book was added instead the books are not individual books and are grouped together. Not bad... just a bit weird since i have books 2-12 (lent out number 1 to someone never got it back). Well, i guess i'll look this up and find out a bit about the series, specially the spin off Sons of the Dark. This series was amazing when i read it and at 22 i hope to fall in love with a little peice of me from a while back :) enjoy!
