Great read about America's most important general!

This is a thorough but easy to read biography that explains how General Petraeus rose to the heights of US military command. The scope also includes introduction of key developments affecting the Army in recent decades, and an especially welcome explanation of the Iraq War. It's suitable for those not too familiar with national security issues, but comprehensive enough to satisfy history students and buffs who like plenty of facts. Overall well grounded and highly recommended.
