With the same irresistible humor and vibrant style as his award-winning No, David! books, David Shannon takes us back to the "early years" of his most beloved character. Perfect for beginning readers as well as for the youngest children!

Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly
In his third Diaper David book, the star of No, David! (in his younger days) takes on the senses in David Smells! by David Shannon. He reaches out to touch his pooch ("Leave him alone, David!"), the smell naturally emanates from his own diapers, but the closing spread demonstrates see with a game of "Peekaboo, Davey!" Great, cute book!

My 11 month old son loves this book. My older daughter, who is 3, also loves the No David! series. It is really cute and the pictures seem to catch his eye. Whenever I bring out several books to read to him he always reaches for this one first!
