DONNA GRANT
DAWN’S DESIRE
A Dark King Story
For centuries, the immortals known as the Dragon Kings have hidden their shapeshifting powers from the world. But when a mortal enemy threatens to expose them, the warrior Banan must leave his secret lair in the Highlands, risk his life for the dragons within—and resist the temptations of human love…
Jane Holden has never considered herself beautiful. But when the impossibly handsome Banan casts his gaze upon her, smoldering with sensuality, she feels like the sexiest woman on earth. Banan, however, is a man on a mission. He refuses to succumb to this modern woman’s charms—or his own desires. Two of his warrior brethren have already surrendered to forbidden love. But as the danger closes in, Banan realizes that he needs to possess Jane—mind, body, and soul. For she is more than his match. She is his destiny…
This is a story of destiny and desire, magic and mystery, warriors and lovers.
These are the forbidden cravings of the Dark Kings.
DARK CRAVING (Dark King #1)
NIGHT'S AWAKENING (Dark King #2)
DAWN'S DESIRE (Dark King #3)
Don't miss the connected series The Dark Warriors:

This was over too soon. I was ready to read more. I have enjoyed many different series by Donna Grant. The Sisters of Magic series was my least favorite. I am left wondering about the Dragon Kings now. Just a trilogy? Not enough!

Donna Grant does it again. In Dawn's Desire both the main characters are caught in a web of intrigue and constant attacks. Though it is a shot story it is full of passion, action, and the main characters are in constant danger of being discovered. Love the book, can't say enough. Can't wait for the next one.

As always I enjoyed this book. I really like the fact that she mentions characters from her other series. These are the perfect quick reads for anyone like me who has children, work and school.

oh this little teaser of a trilogy is good, with a cherry on top. Worth every one of those 99 pennies.

I love that Banan the tough, seems to be unaffected, King falls. He was willing and did risk being noticed by taking to the sky as a Dragon in the middle of London. I think that it is the cast aside Dragon King removed of his powers creating havoc for the others. I hope there is another so we can find out where the newest Dragon King came from.

Rise of DawnClan: Hopekit's Destiny: Prologue: Part 1
It was a dark and stormy night, the echoing cries of a queen giving birth ringing throughout the forest. Tonight, a blessing would be born to DawnClan…
“Just one more push, Silverdawn!” Said Tigerstripe, the clan’s medicine cat, as he put a paw on her flank, feeling her body heave as she tried to deliver the last kit. “Just one more push and it’ll all be over!” Silverdawn let out a final cry as the kit pushed through, entering the world. She lay limp as she rested from the tiring birth, letting Tigerstripe lick it clean and push it towards her, letting it suckle. “Two toms and a she-kit.” Lightningstrike, the father of the kits, purred happily. “What are you going to name them, Silverdawn?” “The little she-kit will be Hopekit, the small tom will be Hailkit, and the last one will be named Robinkit.” She said tiredly. “What beautiful names for such lovely kits.” Speckleheart said, a kind glimmer in her eyes. Silverdawn nodded thanks before falling into a deep sleep.
“Hey, why do I have to be the mouse!” Hopekit yowled indignantly, her blue eyes narrowed in annoyance of her brothers. “’Cause you’re small like one!” Hailkit said before pouncing on her. (Comment if you like and if I should continue)

I love all of Donna Grant's books.
I realize this was book 3. However, maybe she wanted to see what her readers' thought first before writing more. I have hope that she will continue the stories about the other Dragon Kings.
If you want more, write to Ms. Grant and tell her!
Recommended read--all three books.
This is the third book that I have ever read by Donna Grant and I will totally be getting more. I loved this 3 book novella start to a great new series called the Dark Kings. This is the third of the 3 short (less then 100 pages per book) novellas that will start off the series. It is about Banan and Jane. After figuring out that something is not quite right with PureGems, Guy, Banan and Rhys, along with Elena fly to England to try to figure out who is behind sending Elena and her boss to Dreagon Lands and what they are after. Jane is an American who works as a secretary for the President of PureGems in England. She has always felt like nothing special, a "Plain Jane", with a knack for being a klutz and never saying the right thing. Banana is a man with a secret that he has kept for over a millinium. He wants to get to the bottom of what is happening at PureGem and figure out who is trying to find out their secret.
When Jane and Banan first meet, Jane can not believe that someone like Banan would look at her twice, but Banan can not stay away from the shy and innocent Jane. When Jane overhears something at PureGem that puts her in danger, can Banan and his friends save her in time? Will they get a HEA? You have to get this book and find out :)
Loved everything about this series and will need to get the Dark Sword and Dark Warriors series also by Donna Grant until we get more Dark Kings.

After reading books one and two, and couldn't wait to see where there the cliff hanger would lead me, I jumped right into this book. I loved it, until we got to the end. I was left incomplete. Knowing this was a trilogy I don't understand why the last book was left with a cliff hanger that will not be satisfied. And for this I gave it a rating of 3 stars, not 5 stars as I did with the first 2 books. Needless to say, I do wish she would transform this trilogy into a series. I have enjoyed her writing.
