    Full of Hope and Love

When I first make friends with a couple, I love to ask, 'How did you meet?' The answers vary: in a bar, the grocery store, work, dark alley, so on and so forth - while my mind supplies images of rose-scented gardens and moonlit beaches. I'm a hopeless romantic and I knew this book was the one for me. There are 47 short stories, simple and plain-spoken non-fictional accounts of that fateful day when they first met, that very first day of their long-term relationship. There are men who were pen pals, best friends, co-workers and friends of friends. Men who fell victim to matchmaking friends, blind dates and quirks of fate. Men that are still living and loving their lifetimes together others who had those lifetimes cut short by illness or war. Older men who had given up on finding that someone, some who had been married and raised families - just to find that special person in the least expected places, when they were least expecting it. Then there's the Bear that wanted to be loved for who he was and not what he was the trick that wouldn't leave and the 'male order' lover. The stories titillate the heart and arouse emotions of love and hope. If you don't believe in happily ever afters, you may want to avoid this book. But if you are a romantic like me and believe (or you're still waiting to believe) that there is that special someone out there for everyone, indulge yourself in this heartwarming anthology.
