This author has substantial hands on experience with DCC and knows from doing, and spells it out in terms that anyone can understand without being too simplistic. It covers all aspects of design and construction. The book is unbiased and does not lean toward any one brand of product, but shows several different brands and highlights their advantages, it will not decide which brand to buy but outlines what qualities to look for depending on what you want it to do. Every aspect of DCC wiring is covered and he discusses special installations and wiring tricks to get the most out of your system. The book is up to date and shows products that are presently on the market, and speaks of future plans for DCC. Highly recommended, essential reading for anyone planning to buy a DCC system.

I'd love to be able to give a bunch of stars for this, but seeing as how this is a "PagePerfect" book, it is not openable on anything but an actual Nook -- Nook for PC, Nook for Android, and Nook for Mac flatly refuse to open PagePerfect ebooks (which stinks because I have another PagePerfect book I actually paid for which I can't open anymore).
