The author of the book said it best at the publisher's web site: "Bored with Beverly Hills Vampires 90210? Bored with the whole vampire thing in general? So am I. So are most people. Angels are much more exciting to read about - ...especially the Angel of Death, Azrael. In a writing market ruled by predictable plots, weak stories, and limp personae, Dead Angels Bleed defiantly stands up and out of the pack with original storytelling and dynamic characters. It's the written equivalent to a thrash/death metal album - it moves fast, hits hard, and doesn't let up for a second. If, as a reader, you think it might be a little intimidating to take in and absorb, that's okay. The tweenie vampire books are a search term and a click away - but if you're ready for something new and unpredictable, then this novel is your alternative." I totally agree. I'm not sure if the book should be listed as a horror novel, but it's definitely out there. It never lets up until the last page. I read it more than once. 5 stars.

I really enjoyed reading this book. If you like angels you will love reading about Azrael. The dialoge is fantastic. It seems that this writer actually has talked to Azrael because I can hear him myself when I read the conversations he has with Jake. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
