FISHING WILL NEVER BE THE SAME

If you like horror, bizzare stories, strange characters or aquatic zombiefied creatures, you'll love Dead Bait. Some of the stories will have you trembling, others will have you laughing out loud, and a few may even put you "off your feed". There's the deadly suck hole in Murphy Edwards southern fried nightmare "Noodlers", a crooked car salesman who discovers a difficult customer in "Test Drive", and the atmospheric tale "Chum Bucket" with a salty sea dog captain who uses a special bait to troll for something nasty. "Lobster Stew" will have you reconsidering that little out-of-the-way seafood joint you've been wanting to try, while "Grim Adaptions" puts a whole new meaning to 'down by the lazy river'. "Noodlers" was clearly my favorite, since Murphy Edwards style reminds me of Joe R. Lansdale, but each of these stories deserves recognition. Severed Press has assembled a satisfying collection of undead fish stories worthy of your attention. Keep a copy in your tackle box for when the fish aren't 'biting'.
