Overview

The sequel to Along Came a Demon and The Demon Hunters:

Is it just me? Is anyone else and their sweetie whisked from a romantic getaway and end up in the J. Edgar Hoover Building in Washington DC? I don't even get to show Royal my sexy new underwear.

The FBI think I'm a Medium. They want me to "communicate" with the victims of a particularly brutal murder. I have a hard time believing the Federal Bureau of Investigation would seek the help of a psychic investigator, let alone one from Utah. I don't think they're being honest with me.

What I discover at the crime scene tells me the killer is not human. I'm surprised when the agents reach the same conclusion. Luckily, they are way off base.

I don't expect to revisit old places, or see old faces who demand we quit the investigation. I don't expect to risk losing everything and everyone I cherish.

And what is it with Jack and Dale Jericho?

Meet the Author

Linda Welch was born in Hampshire, England. After moving to the USA, she lived in Idaho, California and New Mexico before settling in Utah. She now lives in a mountain valley, more or less halfway up the mountainside, with her husband and Scottish terrier. Unlike Tiff Banks, the heroine of Linda's Whispering series of paranormal mysteries, she is not tall and white-haired, does not see demons and hasn't seen a dead person for a while. What she does see are moose, deer, raccoon, skunk, wild turkey, a huge bird population and a ridiculous amount of snow. When not writing, and depending on the season, she is usually tending to her Scottie, filling the bird feeders, futilely attacking the weeds in her garden or shoveling out after a snowstorm.

    more from this reviewer

Linda Welch is on my radar!

I can't believe more people haven't read/reviewed Linda Welch's work....the Whisperings series is great. Intriguing story line, delectable hero, wonderfully human heroine, and fantastically action-packed plots. Since reading the first book, I have literally stalked B&N, going to my Archive and clicking on Linda Welch's name (like, once a week) to see if she's spit out another book yet. I'm embarrassed to admit it. ;-) Check it out, guys. These books are long (1,000-plus pages) and inexpensive....SO TOTALLY WORTH IT!

    Good series

Even though the first book was free, and i didn't know it was part of a series.....but it sucked me in and i am on book 3, and i started reading it in october 2013. It's a great read. I get lost into the book; into the other realm. I love hearing about Royal; the sexy demon! Even though i go to college and have schoolwork, i WILL find time to read this book! I am very happy with it, and the remaining books are pretty cheap! I love getting lost in a book,ESPECIALLY when i can't put it down!

"Disappointed" you must be confused with other books.

"Disappointed" you must be confused with other books. #1 Along Came a Deon is a novela around 184 pages. #2 The Demon Hunters is around 220 pages. This book #3 IS around 200 pages. None are anywhere near 800+ or 1000+ pages. Maybe yur Nook reads pages wrong but you should know approx how long they are from reading them.

    Disappointed

Only 200 pages compared to the first two book of 800+ and 1000+ and it costs more. This is just a novella

    Great Series

Finally a paranormal that has more dialog and plot than sex. Love the worlds Tiff and Royal come from, and look to learn more about Gia.

    They really draw you in!

I keep enjoying this series. Her style of writing keeps me going and the concepts she has for the paranormal are different enough from everyone else I have read that I want to learn more about Tiff's world.

    Good

But not 1000+ pages. 200 pages, but still a good read.
