This book is very well written and very entertaining. The main character, Jimmy, has a very Harry Potter feel to him. He’s a regular dork who lives with his grandma. The group of people he ends up with are all solid characters, each with strong points an flaws. The book has a lot of dialog, which really keeps it moving along. The language of the book is down to earth and easy to read. The author does a good job of maintaining mystery and tension. I’m really curious to know what’s to the west. The book has simularies to the movie Zombieland and the Walking Dead series, but the author gives the zombies an original twist. I’ll be reading the second book in the series.

It was a good story that kept my attention. I enjoyed how the author kept the pace moving and also kept you guessing. 207 pages so I'm hoping his next book will be out soon. I will definitely be reading that.
