Meet the Author

Award winning author, Lizzie T. Leaf started life in Kansas, continued her growing in North Carolina, and currently shivers through the winters in Colorado. She has numerous e-books in varying lengths and her first print book, Struck by Lightning, won dual 2007 Beacon awards, in addition to being a finalist in two other contests.
Since discovering the fun of writing paranormal, she plays with creating vampires, faeries and other immortals. Making Christmas is her first Historical romance.
When not creating mischief for paranormal beings, or researching her column Leaf’s Legends for Night Owl Reviews Magazine, she can be found exploring the other genres she wants to write. She also serves as VP of Programs for the Heart of Denver Romance Writers.
Lizzie loves to read, spend time with her family and travel with her best friend husband during her free time, on which most of friends ask…“what free time?”

Who would ever had thought of a "Chug"....Really...I wouldn't have...but man was it funny as all heck...
I could barely keep a straight face reading the first part of the book...Grant you this story has all the characters from the past stories of the series (NO, you DON'T Have to read them to enjoy this one)<---Hahahaha...Double negative!!!
Ms. Leaf brings in the old with the new characters just perfectly...Man the party just get better and better!!!

Milk chocolate, Dorsey has to be one fun piece of meat because the women seem to be after his cute little behind and man I'm sure I'd be right there waiting too!
I personally love the part where he is totally snuggling up to "the little lost dog" (OMG...LOL) I swear I busted out laughing!!!

Yes, of course there had to be some serious side to the story....I did like that it was the man's past that was a bite in the butt instead of let's say.... Sharla's!

Sharla's character in the beginning was a bit nerdish/shy school girl....in a good way though. She was really funny, always loosing her clothes in puddles, fun to pet...LOL
At the end I was gob smacked with how they escaped...
    Pretty cool...
I'm just kinda wondering if "Waddles" is going to give them anymore problems...
Really even more happy to know....from the looks of it...there's going to be more to come :0)
On a really cool side note....I do kinda of wonder if Satan isn't just sitting down in Hell watching all this take place...kind of like his favorite reality t.v show...just saying....LOL

    I Also Recommend:

Had me ROTFL at this fun, sexy, funny book. A Must read for a fun time!

**Warning, this book contains adult language and sex scenes. This is meant only for adults.**

I was able to get sucked into this story really quick, but the middle of the 2nd chapter or so. Its funny, and unexpected, and we have some return characters like B.J and Dovey, and Daniel etc. This story is more on a newcomer, Sharla, she is an unusual shapshifter, a Chug, yeah, a mix dog, it’s quite funny, it really is.

This shorter book, like the rest, are quick easy reads. I was able to read it in one sitting, and it had me laughing out loud at times.
I at first didn’t think I would like Shara, but I warmed up to her pretty quickly and loved the surprise of what she learns and becomes with her mothers help. Just in time to help her friends out.
Dorsey I really liked, he is a strong character, and is perfect for Shara. Love that he shifts into a black panther, love big cats.

I really enjoyed this story, and wont say much more so I wont spoil it.

5 out of 5 stars. Check it out

I was provided this copy to read for the book tour and to give my honest review by Innovative Online Book Tours.

    Fantastic!

"Dead Hot" is another of Lizzie's fantastic novella's that you just can't bring yourself to put down until the end. From thriller to drama to humor to sexy, Lizzie pens her characters so believable and lovable in this "shape shifting" plot so that you want it to go on and on. *5 Stars*
