Overview

Captain Salty Sam and his crew were some of the most feared pirates of the seven seas during the 1500's. Whenever, the Salty Sam's ship the White Pearl was sailing near other ships. If any ship got too close to the White Pearl it was evident they would be fired upon and if any gold was aboard, it would be taken by Salty Sam and his crew. Salty Sam was about to meet his match when Captain Peg Leg's ship The Black Death came inches beside the White Pearl almost scraping its side. This just angered Captain Salty Sam. Salty Sam said, "No one!! I mean No one!! Treads the same waters as the White Pearl, without a fight?" Salty Sam shouted out to his men, "Get the cannons ready and when I give the signal, fire upon that ship, I want it sunk." His men were ready for battle. Salty Sam shouted out to the other ship, "Ahoy! What arrr ye doing in me waters?"
Captain Peg Leg answered," This is what I'm doing," as he laughed and then said to his men" Fire!! His men fired upon the White Pearl and a fierce battle arose, but Captain Peg Leg's The Black Death ship was too strong for Captain Salty Sam's ship the White Pearl. After intense cannon fire the White Pearl surrendered and Captain Peg Leg's men boarded the White Pearl and took all their gold as the ship the White Pearl was slowly sinking into the sea with its Captain and crew members.
Captain Peg Leg said to his men, "That was easy ye mateys." and laughed. Then the ship The Black Death sailed farther out to sea in search of an island to bury the treasure. One of his men yelled out, "Look, Captain there's an island in the distance that ought to be the perfect spot to bury me treasure chest. The treasure was buried on the island just as Captain Peg Leg took his last breath and died of scurvy just like crew members did a week before. Over three hundred years later Captain Johnny Edwards and his treasure hunters were hungry for treasure especially pirate treasure. They found it all right, but the ghost of Captain Peg Leg and his crew wasn't about to let the treasure leave the island. See what fate lies ahead as Captain Johnny Edwards and his hungry treasure hunters try to dig up the treasure then try to leave the island alive with the treasure.

Meet the Author

Drac Von Stoller's imagination and fascination for the Horror genre began when he was a little boy watching his favorite actors such as Vincent Price, Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee and Bela Lugosi on his little black and white television alone in his dark room. Drac would watch these horror movies for hours and build model kits of his favorite characters like Dracula, the Wolfman, Frankenstein and even the Munster's car from his favorite television series. Then as time went on and nothing was left to the imagination in the new horror movies, Drac still loved watching the old movies he so loved as a little boy. Then as Drac became an adult he decided one day that he would write a short story in the horror genre and let some of his friends read it and see what they thought. Drac's first short story was titled "Death in the Wilderness," which would be considered flash fiction but this would be Drac's test to see if he was destined to be an author. Sure enough when people read "Death in the Wilderness" they loved it but couldn't understand why Drac didn't keep on with the story but Drac knew all along that if what they read was so good then Drac has succeeded. This gave Drac the confidence he needed to keep on writing more and more short stories. I don't know about you reader's out there, but I think it's time we have another Horror TV series. We haven't had one like Night Gallery, Outer Limits, Twilight Zone, Tales from the Crypt or Creepshow since the 90's and that's what my goal is a TV series. Drac Von Stoller would really appreciate any Horror fan's support. Without every reader's download and support Drac Von Stoller would not be where he is today. I just want to thank you all for any kindness you have bestowed upon me and my vision.

Drac, A number of your stories feature lavish parties with ballroom dancing in castles, and even one on a cruise ship. Do you have anything special planned for this Halloween?

I wouldn't typically purchase a horror/sci-fi genre book but a friend mentioned it to me so I bought it. I have to say that the appearance of the book is pleasing. It's well designed and lightweight so there's no anxiety about getting through a thick novel. Some stories to recommend (my faves) are "Visit from the Greys" "Phantom Miner" " The Dead Sea Captain" and "Death in the Wilderness". I don't leave reviews but something about this one so check it out!

A group of friends decide to campout in some "haunted" woods. Everything is all fun and spooke stories until they start hearing spooky sounds and are never heard from again. Remember kids.... curiousity killed the cat. Funny story, worth the short read.

A stupid stereotype pirate story.

I have read at least one other story by this author and I want to like his work but ... The first story I read could have actually been a good story had he put forth some time and effort. I feel that this was poorly written and (maybe I'm the wrong audience) juvenile. For a short story I want it to grab me in the first couple of pages for it to be worth my while and this didn't do it.
