Frank Roderus hipnotizes you with an empathetic feeling towards 'Alex', the character in 'Dead Man's Journey'. The general plot of fighting for something he ('Alex') believes in, is masked by continual hatred and evil acts of violence against him by men who love to kill. It makes you wonder that if Alex was a real human being how he could've ever taken so much abuse. The ending is remarkable as any book. In this short but entertaining novel, 'good really does win.' VERY GOOD BOOK. A MUST READ. If you like westerns, you'll like this one.
