What can possibly go wrong when three very different women find themselves cooped up in a beat-up 1974 Winnebago headed to the Mississippi Gulf Coast? About to turn 50 years old, eccentric Emma Daye wants to escape the pollution of East Texas and breathe in the cleansing, salt air of Biloxi Beach that she's convinced makes her feel better. Meet the Author

K. J. Knight is the penname of an aunt and niece team who began writing together in 2005 just for fun. DEAD PEOPLE'S THINGS has been an ongoing work-in-progress that they have enjoyed creating over the years. It is evident that these two authors had fun with this manuscript, as it is shown throughout the entire storyline with its many zany characters and situations.
Janet Knight has been published in newspapers and magazines and has reviewed books for the Houston Chronicle. She, along with her brother also won the Golden Pen Award for mainstream fiction at the Southwest Writer's Conference in Houston, Texas.
As a former program manager of a psychiatric rehab, Karen Knight Kaster has contributed to and compiled instructional manuals for in-house client curriculum and staff development. Both have taken advanced writing courses and both have written for years as a hobby. Avid readers with a hearty appreciation for a good belly laugh, they are excited about this novel. As native Texans, who love visiting the Mississippi Gulf Coast, these two are able to offer a unique glimpse into a raucous road trip to the modern day deep south.
