Overview

Crime scene cleaner Sadie Novak has been blessed with the gift of second sight. But with ghosts of murder victims always popping up when she’s trying to work, her blessing sometimes seems more like a curse…

With business slow, her mortgage payment looming, and her relationship with on-again off-again boyfriend Zack somewhere in limbo, Sadie could use a drink and a little rejuvenating R&R. But when women start getting killed in fancy hotels, Sadie suddenly finds herself back to work and her business back in the black.

Posh hotels are much nicer accommodations than her usual crime scenes, but soon perks turn to peril and Sadie gets caught in the killer’s web. Now, Sadie has to figure out the identity of the Seattle Slasher, before he comes for her next…

By far the best Sadie book

I have been a fan of Wendy Roberts since the first book in this series. I was so excited to buy this book today! I could not put it down! There are so many twists and turns that I had no idea who the bad guy was. I can not wait to read the next one!!!!!

    What a let Down

I really enjoyed the first 3 books, so I was really excited to see the author writing again. Book 4 was okay, but what a let down with 5. What was the point in the whole convoluted pregnancy. It added no value to the storyline as written.

Another great entry in this series

A strong book in the series, Dead Suite is smart and spooky. However, the book requires the reader to have a lot of background to fully appreciate the complex life Sadie leads. Definitely start with book one in this series.

    more from this reviewer

    Good addition

This was a good book but not my favorite of the series. I didn't like that Zach was being a cruel and alooft on again, off again boyfriend. The ghostie friends were interesting and I had an incling who was scaring Sadie. I had not a clue about all the background and everything along with it. Big shocker!
