Cursed yankee guman Ronan Lynch finds himself beset by bushwhackers and blood suckers in this third dime novel. He has been the tour guide for this twisted western world and has done the job expertly. Once again he is assisted by Texas Ranger "One Eye" Ketchum, who is charged to put down monsters and keep the normal people in the dark about the monsters that lurk in this twisted western setting. The two veterans are aided by mad scientist Thaddeus Washington who introduces the reader to the other facet of the Deadlands setting, high science fueled by high energy "ghost rock". So strap in for a bumpy rail ride and enjoy.
