A very good second book/sequel. I honestly stayed up the first night until the book was done, there was no place after the first 50 pages that I could stop without wanting to know what was going to happen next. This book stands on it's own, however read "Lucifer's Calling" first to understand the characters and plot better. I will buy his next book.

It is a second hit for Mr. Martin. I read his first book Lucifers Calling and both of these are a can't put down books. Great job. I hope you keep putting out more books like this.

Let's see, I'll pick names for characters, use atrociously vile scenes - copied from various TV mysteries, then write about them using as many adjectives I can find in a thesaurus. Put about 200 pages together and voila', I have a novel. This book is, once again, poorly written, does not mesh, and is unquestionably another failure by Martin.

I have read many thrillers before, but this one was very good. I read the first one about a month ago, and was excited to receive this one. I got very caught up reading it one stormy night, and could not put it down. I stayed up all night reading it, and I can't wait until the next one comes out. Great job Mr. Martin. You have a great future in the business.

This book is better overall when compared to the first book ever written by the author. The plot line continues from the first but the conclusion really makes you stop and think. The New and old individuals make this a great read.
I started this book on Monday and had finished it by Tuesday night. This is a hard book to put down once you start reading it and makes you become involved with the plot and individuals.
Can't wait to see what is in store for the next book 3-16. this is a up and coming author who has a lot of potential.
